How it Works & Terms of Service
What can I expect from A-Team Massage’s service?
A-Team’s massage therapist is a professional who is experienced, licensed, insured and has been thoroughly screened.
How it Works
Upon arrival, approximately 15 minutes early, the massage therapist will ask for you to review and sign our “Release of Informed Consent & Client Intake Form”. In the meantime, the massage therapist will be setting up for your massage.
After reviewing your confidential information, the massage therapist will ask you to undress to your level of comfort - whether that means shorts and top, bathing suit or less. At all times you will be properly draped by linen so that all private parts remain covered.
A typical full body massage will include work on your face and scalp, neck, arms, shoulders, hands, legs, feet and back. Some massages may include work on abdominals and/or gluteus. The massage therapist may not be able to perform massage on some areas of the body if there are contraindications for that specific area, such as a recent wound, severe varicose veins, etc. Neither breasts (females) nor genital areas will be massaged.
Upon conclusion of the massage, you will be asked to sign a “Receipt of Services” form confirming the massage service received. Tip is optional and standard is 15-20% of the total bill.
You will not be asked for your credit card information again. This information is given only to the managers who process your appointment. This is an added security measure for our clients.
Types of Massage all of our therapists can provide:
- Swedish massage - for overall relaxation
- Deep Tissue massage - to get rid of those nasty knots!
- Custom massage - somewhere in-between
Requests for specific types of massage or conditions (i.e. pregnancy) are welcome!
Cancellation Notice
- A 4 hour cancellation notice is required to cancel an A-Team Massage appointment. If the 4 hour cancellation notice is not received, the client will be charged for the full appointment.
“No Show”
- Your therapist will wait a total of 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time. If you do not show for your massage appointment, charges in full will be assessed to cover the therapist’s time and expenses.
Termination of Treatment
The therapist will refuse, or terminate the treatment, if any of the following conditions are encountered:
- broken skin or lesions
- misconduct such as soclicitation or suggestive comments
- medical conditions prohibiting massage
- intoxication
If treatment is terminated for any of the above reasons, the client will still be charged to cover the therapist’s time and expenses.
